DEBTS HAVE GONE UP, MONEY IS LESS FOR THE PEOPLE, I AM FIGHTING A HISTORIC BATTLE FOR THE RULE OF LAW, IMRAN KHAN
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that our situation is difficult; Pakistan is in debt, less money is left to spend on the development of the people; the government is fighting a historic battle for the rule of law, the whole of Pakistan. I will set up a kitchen truck network, expand the program to the whole country without starvation, and deliver food to the doorsteps of the poor and deserving.
This will bring blessings to the country. Philanthropists should play their full role in this program. Pakistan will also be on the world map in a few years in the style of the state of Madina. The health insurance program for the citizens is a matter of pride. After this program, good private sector hospitals will be set up in the rural areas as well.
Addressing a function in Lahore, Peshawar and Faisalabad on Sunday on the occasion of launching the No Hunger Sleep program, the Prime Minister said that these mobile trucks would provide food to the people in the poor and backward areas. The biggest responsibility lies with the poor.
The Prime Minister said that Pakistan is the only country that was built in the name of Islam but could not follow this path. Today we have more debts and limited resources to spend on the people. People who give alms are our assets.
Meanwhile, Imran Khan has said that the government is taking all possible steps to uphold the rule of law. The grip should be strengthened; the same law should be applied to the weak and powerful sections of society.
He expressed these views while talking to Mufti Rahim, Superintendent of Jamia Al-Rasheed Karachi, who called on him here on Sunday.
The Prime Minister's vision for the state of Madinah was discussed in detail during the meeting. In addition, increasing foreign investment thanks to the government's business-friendly policies was part of the discussion.
The Prime Minister on the occasion said that uniform law and punishment in the offices for the weak and the powerful can only improve the system.
