PARTIAL BAND ON SOCIAL MEDIA IN PAKISTAN-INFO4U-2021

The government has banned social media across the country from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today.

Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA) has closed social media platforms across the country for four hours today on the instructions of the Interior Ministry.

According to the Interior Ministry, WhatsApp, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Telegram services have been partially shut down across the country.

Consumers have lost access to social media sites since the government's decision.
