FACEBOOK FOUND IT COSTLY TO SILENCE THE VOICE OF PALESTINIANS

Suppressing the voices of oppressed Palestinians on Facebook is costly this time.

After the social networking site Facebook's rating dropped, millions of people gave Facebook a one-star review on Apple's App Store.

The website Facebook called One Star Review a big problem and demanded that Apple delete negative reviews from the App Store.

Apple has refused to comply with Facebook's request.

A senior software engineer at Facebook's internal messaging board says the recent conflict between Israel and Palestine has significantly eroded consumer confidence in Facebook.

According to Facebook.

"Our customers are upset with our approach to the situation in Israel and Palestine, so such reviews are being given,"
