GOVERNMENT PETITIONS AGAINST JUSTICE FAIZ AGAIN

GOVERNMENT PETITIONS AGAINST JUSTICE FAIZ AGAIN,

The Registrar of the Supreme Court objected to the appeals of the President, Prime Minister, Law Minister, Accountability Adviser and FBR.

The case can be heard under the jurisdiction of self-notice obtained under Article 184 (3) of the Constitution even after a decision has been taken on the Supreme Court's application. According to sources, the objections say that once the decision in a case is reviewed in the Supreme Court, no application for reconsideration can be filed. According to sources, the government will file an appeal against the objection to the Registrar's Office within 30 days. The government's position is that it is not a review but a curative review request. Meanwhile, Geo News obtained a copy of the objections raised by the Registrar of the Supreme Court. The Registrar objected that the title of the petition was written as a self-notice case while the petition was written as a curative review. There is no scope for review in the Supreme Court Rules after the final decision. Power of Attorney was not inserted by the Prime Minister.
