REJECT THE COLONIAL ATTITUDE OF EMBASSIES, CORRECT THE TREATMENT OF OVERSEAS PAKISTANIS, IF THEY DO NOT SEND MONEY, THE COUNTRY WILL GO BANKRUPT: PM

Addressing the Pakistani ambassadors, Imran Khan said that Pakistan's economic system was running on remittances from overseas Pakistanis, as was the attitude of the embassies. The Pakistani embassy in Kuwait received a complaint from NADRA staff for accepting a bribe of 250 dirhams while the ambassador did not take any action on the complaint of bribery on the citizen portal. Surprisingly, fraud is taking place inside the embassy but the ambassador did not take any action. However, there is no system in embassies to address public grievances. The Prime Minister directed the Citizen Portal to link to embassies and directed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to appoint a special officer who would only deal with complaints.
