There is no job in KP except government jobs, institutions are full, unable to pay pensions, Chief Justice.
ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Gulzar Ahmed has remarked that government institutions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are not able to pay salaries and pensions, adding that people in government institutions have been filled with jobs.
Your government is borrowing from the IMF and the World Bank. This is a dangerous way that the salaries of government employees are being paid through loans. Is there no other source of employment in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa other than government jobs? Meanwhile, Justice Mazahir Ali Naqvi said that the industry in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was suffering the most from smuggling.
Effective measures are needed to prevent this, the public prosecutor said, adding that no province can take funds directly from the IMF and the World Bank.
A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed on Tuesday heard the case of pension payment of Fazal Mukhtar, a former employee of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Forest Department. The project hired a forest guard who was fired in 1994 and re-hired, but now that he is retired, his four-year service has not been included in the payment of his pension.
Addressing Additional Advocate General Qasim Wadud, the Chief Justice said, "Are the government agencies of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa not able to pay salaries and pensions?" Borrowing from IMF and World Bank.

Justice Mazahir Ali Akbar said that the biggest reason for the damage being done to the economy of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is smuggling. In order to increase the industry in this province, smuggling must be stopped. The court dismissed the appeal.
