Lahore Despite not being a member of the Punjab Assembly, the presence of the provincial minister and PML-N leader Ataullah Tarar in the House, the protest and commotion, Punjab's budget for the next financial year should not be presented in the House on Monday. Could According to sources, the session of the Punjab Assembly has been adjourned till one o'clock this afternoon. However, at the commencement of the sitting, Speaker Pervez Elahi gave another rolling order and ordered to bring the IG and Chief Secretary into the House and said that if the IG and Chief Secretary did not come then the budget would not be presented. The Punjab Cabinet also approved the budget for 2022-23, according to which the salaries of Punjab government employees will be increased by 30% while pensions will be increased by 15%, and electricity bills for the poor. Rs 5 billion was approved. The deadlock between the government and the opposition in the Advisory Committee of the Punjab Assembly remained due to which the budget meeting was delayed. A meeting of the provincial cabinet was held under the chairmanship of Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz in which it was decided to increase the salaries of government employees of the province by 30%. The government will also provide a 15% disparity allowance along with a 15% additional salary which will be given only to the employees of certain government departments.
