Selena Gomez is an American actress, singer, and producer, born
on July 22, 1992, in Grand Prairie, Texas. She started her career as a child
actress, appearing in various television series and movies such as "Barney
& Friends," "Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over," and "Walker,
Texas Ranger: Trial by Fire."
In 2007, Selena got her breakthrough role as Alex Russo in the
Disney Channel series "Wizards of Waverly Place," which ran for four
seasons. She became a popular figure among teenage audiences and gained a
massive fan following.
In addition to her acting career, Selena is also a successful
musician. She formed the band Selena Gomez & the Scene in 2008 and released
three studio albums with them. In 2013, she released her debut solo album
