CONSIDERATION OF THE OPTIONS OF APPEAL TO THE SUPREME COURT AGAINST THE DECISION OF THE ELECTION COMMISSION


Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has started considering the options of approaching the Supreme Court against the Election Commission's decision .

Sources say that a meeting of senior leaders of PTI was held in Lahore under the chairmanship of Imran Khan on the issue of postponement of elections in Punjab, Farrukh Habib, Barrister Ali Zafar attended the meeting.

Sources say that Senator Azam Swati, Mian Aslam Iqbal and Musrat Jamshed Cheema also participated in the meeting.

PTI leader Shafqat Mehmood and former governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Farman also attended the meeting.

It should be noted that the Election Commission withdrew the Punjab Assembly election schedule on April 30. The new election schedule will be announced along with the general election date of October 8, the official order of which was also issued yesterday
