Sources said that important decisions are expected in the meeting convened by the Prime Minister in view of the Coronavirus situation. On the other hand, former Finance Minister Hafeez Sheikh has also contracted the Coronavirus, said the incumbent Finance Minister. Hamad Azhar confirmed that former finance minister Hafeez Sheikh was suffering from corona and prayed for his speedy recovery.

Meanwhile, the number of active cases of coronavirus in Punjab province has crossed 24,000. According to the NCOC, Punjab is number one in the country in terms of coronavirus patients and active cases.

Sindh ranks second in the country in terms of coronavirus deaths, while the federal capital Islamabad ranks second in the country in terms of active cases of coronavirus. The number of active cases of coronavirus in Islamabad has reached 9370.

Sindh ranks first in the country in terms of total coronavirus recovery and total reported cases of coronavirus, while Punjab ranks second.

These districts include Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Gujarat, Rawalpindi, Multan, Sargodha, Sialkot and Sheikhupura. Colleges and universities in these districts are closed till April 11. Educational institutions in these districts will not be able to conduct examinations and send-up tests. Institutions in the remaining 27 districts will function as usual.
