CORONA, CALL FOR ARMY FOR HELP, SOLDIERS TAKE TO THE STREETS WITH POLICE, RANGERS, IF NOT CAREFUL OUR SITUATION WILL BE LIKE INDIA, IMRAN KHAN

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has called on the Pakistan Army to assist in the implementation of Corona SOPs and said that young soldiers should take to the streets with police and Rangers.

If the people are not careful, our situation will be like that of India.

People should strictly follow the precautionary measures against coronavirus and wear masks otherwise they will have to face severe lockdown. Federal Minister for Planning and Head of National Command and Operations Center Asad Umar said that Schools for 12th grade will also remain closed till Eid.

Bazaars will remain open till 6 pm, after which only essential items will be allowed to be traded. A list will be issued. Indoor dining was already banned. From now onwards the outdoor dining won't be allowed till Eid. However, food will be allowed to be bought or taken home. Indoor gyms have also been banned. 

Office hours are being limited to 2 pm. 50% of staff will come to the office. Women should shop before Iftar. If percentages are increased, there might be a lockdown on the Eid holidays. Ladies Must not wait for the eleventh hours before Eid. Dr.Asad Faisal Sultan said. Currently, there are more than 4,600 critically ill patients in intensive care units across the country.

We have gone far beyond the previous wave. The positive rate of cases has also been steadily rising to 10 percent or more, suggesting that the epidemic is spreading in society. In some cities, the positive rate has risen to more than 20 percent. Dr.Asad the immense pressure on the Health System is being increased Day by Day.

Speaking after the National Coordination Committee (NCC) meeting on Coronavirus on Friday, the Prime Minister said that the number of Coronavirus cases was increasing rapidly. That they follow SOPs but people don't pay attention.

Imran Khan PM said that lockdown advice is being specified but we are not imposing now since we are aware of the dilemma of the weaker domain in the society.

Work carefully and strictly follow the SOPs. The government will now work hard to implement the SOPs and will work hard through the army, police And law enforcement agencies to implement the SOPs.

On this occasion, Asad Umar while informing about the decisions taken in NCC said that only necessary types of business will be opened after 6 pm.  The number will be reduced.

Asad Omar said that at present the total oxygen production capacity of the country has reached 90% of which 75 to 80% oxygen is being used for health, which is a big part of the critically ill patients of coronavirus, but also imported from abroad.

Pakistani army reached the capital Islamabad last night and visited different areas of the city with the assistant commissioner. Meanwhile, several violators of SOPs were arrested and some shopkeepers were fined.
