In Sindh today 5 more patients died from the virus and 1029 new cases have been reported, 5292 new cases have been reported at the rate of 10.77%, 88207 active patients have been reported out of which 5214 are in critical condition.
Total deaths from the virus reached 17,530, Punjab topped the list in terms of deaths and cases, the epidemic death toll in Azad Kashmir reached 3% and active cases reached 2,282, with 704494 patients recovering in the country.
The NCOC has declared 26 districts including Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Bahawalpur, Multan, Okara, Rahim Yar Khan, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Swat, Nowshera, Lower Dir, Swabi, Charsadda and Haripur as high risk, Lahore and major.
