KULBHUSHAN CASE, PAKISTAN SHOULD REMOVE MISUNDERSTANDING OF INDIA, ISLAMABAD HIGH COURT
ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has directed the government of Pakistan to liaise with the Indian government through the Foreign Office in the Kulbhushan Yadav case and asked Pakistan to clear India's misunderstanding.
If India does not want to comply with the International Court of Justice (ICJ) regarding Kulbhushan Yadav, he should also state it. Chief Justice Athar Minallah remarked that India itself has applied to the ICC, here the case is for implementation of its decision.
The Additional Attorney General said that India has a misunderstanding regarding the appointment of a lawyer for Clubbhushan, while India has questioned the jurisdiction of the Pakistani court in the case of appointing a lawyer for Clubbhushan and said that this case of a Pakistani court. I do not have jurisdiction, four prisoners have been released at the request of the commission, now the request has become ineffective.
A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Athar Minallah heard a petition in the Islamabad High Court on Thursday seeking a stay on the release of four Indian prisoners.
The government of Pakistan has been directed to contact the Indian government through the Foreign Office in the Kulbhushan Yadav case. The Chief Justice said that it seems that the Indian government has a misunderstanding regarding the proceedings of this court.
