NEW CONTROVERSY IN PDM, PML-N, JUI REFUSE TO ACCEPT GILANI AS LEADER OF OPPOSITION, OPPOSITION WILL NOT RECOGNIZE SHAHBAZ IN NATIONAL ASSEMBLY: PPP

ISLAMABAD: A new debate has erupted in the Senate over the issue of the opposition leader in Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), an opposition party. He refused to accept the opposition leader in the Senate.

PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and JUI-S Senator Abdul Ghafoor Haideri said the PPP situation was disappointing. Sed Naveed Qamar of the PPP said if PML-N and JUI do not take Yousuf Raza Gilani as Leader of the Opposition in the Senate, then we will not accept Shahbaz Sharif as Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly.

He said if the PML-N and JUI had to make their own decisions then there was no point in opposition to the coalition, the important decisions should be taken in full agreement with the PDM party.

According to the report, the PML-N and JUI have agreed not to accept Yousuf Raza Gilani as Leader of the opposition Senate. PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi called on Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri of JUI-F, in which Shahid Khaqan Abbasi inquired about the welfare of Maulana Fazlur Rehman and after his election as Leader of the opposition Senate. The situation was discussed.

During discussions between the two leaders, it was said that all PDM parties were disappointed with the PPP situation.

Leaders of the two political parties have also agreed that the parties in the PDM will have to come up with a plan to bring in their opposition leader.

In this regard, Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri said in the case of the Leader of the Opposition, the PPP had disappointed everyone by seeking the support of the father.
