PPP, ANP DID NOT EXPECT SHOW CAUSE, ORGANIZATIONAL DEMANDS, THEY WILL MAKE "FATHER" FATHER, RECONSIDER DECISIONS FOR RETURN, FAZLUR REHMAN
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) president Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that the PPP and ANP had a show-cause organizational requirement and did not expect them to make 'Baap' their father.
Both the parties should reconsider their decision to return. The PPP and the Awami National Party now have a chance to "return" to the PDM and should reconsider their decision.
Both the parties have received the resignations of their PDM officials but we are not accepting them immediately. We waited for them to bring back their friends. We will still do it. Didn't want to argue.
The political stature of both parties required them to respond to the explanations in a dignified manner, creating unnecessary self-esteem issues. The PDM is an organizational structure under which the parties in the alliance sought clarification. There will be no compromise.
Ramadan will make big decisions. Talking to media after the PDM meeting at his residence in Islamabad on Tuesday, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that an emergency meeting of the PDM had been called and the leaders who did not attend the meeting were contacted by telephone. It is the name of an alliance of 10 parties in which all parties have equal status.
"Most of our decisions came by consensus," he said.
He said that when these decisions were violated and the results were found, the organizational requirement was to seek clarification from the party with which the complaint was lodged. The breach was a matter of time.
