PROHIBITED FUNDING CASE: IMRAN KHAN WAS ORDERED TO APPEAR TODAY


The Banking Court ordered Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan to appear before the end of court time today.

The hearing of the prohibited funding case against Chairman PTI Imran Khan was held in the Banking Court.

The banking court judge rejected Imran Khan's request for exemption from attendance and gave him time till 3.30 pm today.

Judge Rukhshanda Shaheen remarked that if Imran Khan does not appear, the law will take its course.

Barrister Salman Safdar, the lawyer of Imran Khan, argued that I will submit the requests before the court in a short time, I do not even want to take a step against your order in the High Court.

Barrister Salman Safdar said I want you to listen to us here with an open mind, there is a decision of Justice Faiz Isa that the special prosecutor cannot come, despite that I did not raise any objection to Rizwan Abbasi.

Imran Khan is super fit because of exercise, lawyer

Imran Khan's lawyer said that I will not object to him even today, I want to tell you for the first time who is the petitioner in front of you, Imran Khan is a man of more than 70 years of age, he must be super fit due to exercise...

He said that even though a young person takes 3 months to recover after being shot, Imran Khan is also exempted from biometrics due to his old age.

The lawyer presented Imran Khan's X-rays in the court

For Imran Khan's personal appearance, lawyer Salman Safdar asked for 3 weeks' time, the lawyer also presented Imran Khan's X-rays in court.

Barrister Salman Safdar gave arguments and said that if we all become doctors, let's see these x-rays, we only ask for 3 weeks so that Imran Khan can stand without support, if our request is not heard, then we will have to write that our medical is not valid.

He said that it should also be written that Imran Khan was not hit by bullets, he is not even in Islamabad.

The banking court judge lifted the ban on media coverage in the Imran Khan case.
