DASKA ELECTION, PTI'S APPLICATION REJECTED, RE-POLLING IN ENTIRE CONSTITUENCY ON APRIL 10, SC UPHOLDS ECP DECISION

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court (SC) has upheld the decision of the Election Commission (EC) for re-election in NA-75 Daska constituency of the National Assembly and rejected the petition of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate against it. He directed to hold transparent and fair elections in the constituency. 

The court remarked that the Election Commission had failed to take appropriate action in Daska. The court inquired whether the presiding officers had gone missing in the past. The court said that if the results were affected, re-polling could be held. We will issue guidelines in the decision.
