PAKISTAN TEHREEK-E-INSAF'S JAIL BHARU MOVEMENT STARTED IN LAHORE

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Jail Bharu movement has started in Lahore.

The arrival of PTI workers from the party office to Charing Cross Mall Road continues.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Azam Swati, Mian Mehmood-ul-Rashid, Dr. Murad Ras, Waleed Iqbal also reached the central office.

Punjab Home Department has imposed Section 144 for a week around Mall Road, Main Boulevard Gulbarg and Civil Secretariat.

In the first phase, PTI has announced the arrest of 5 leaders and 200 workers including Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Umar Sarfraz Cheema.

According to the sources, the caretaker government of Punjab has made a strategy, according to which there is no more capacity in the jails of Lahore, the arrested persons will have to be sent to Mianwali and DG Khan jails.

Imran tried to stop me from arresting: Shah Mehmood

In this regard, PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi says that Imran Khan has tried to stop me from arresting him.

According to Shah Mehmood, Imran Khan has told me that your position is the most senior in the party, you should not arrest him.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi said in a media talk that the Jail Bharu movement is a peace movement, they do not want chaos in the country, and it is not appropriate to arrest anyone on an illegal and fabricated case.
